Pumps
Hydraulically Compensated
The Continental Hydraulics PVX series vane pump is Hydraulic control via Bias Pistons acting on the Cam Ring making them very application flexible by allowing for a variety of control options. The large pumping chambers using superior port plate design allows for smooth output flow and pressure while providing the ability to work with poor fluid conditions.
For Applications requiring:
- Displacements from 1 to 10 cu.in. (16.8 to 164 cc)
- Continuous Duty Pressures to 3000 PSI (210 Bar)
Direct-Spring Compensated
The Continental Hydraulics PVR series vane pump is directly control via a spring acting on the Cam Ring making them extremely reliable and durable pump choices available. With the fewest moving parts, the direct spring forces volume change based on system demand with fast reaction time and Walking Ring Technology, the PVR series pumps are the field proven pumps for a low cost of ownership.
For Applications requiring:
- Displacements from 0.7 to 9.9 cu.in. (11.5 to 162 cc)
- Continuous Duty Pressures to 2000 PSI (138 Bar)
Trunnion Design
The Continental Hydraulics HPVR series Piston pump is Hydraulic control via a variety control compensator, making them very application flexible by allowing for a variety of control options. The Trunnion Bearing Style Swash Plate design allows for reduced hysteresis and long life in High Cyclic applications.
For Applications requiring:
- Displacements from .88 to 3.97 cu.in. (14.4 to 65 cc)
- Continuous Duty Pressures to 4000 PSI (276 Bar)
Saddle Block
The Continental Hydraulics LPV series of pumps, are variable displacement axial piston pumps with variable swash block, suitable for applications with open loop circuits and intermediate pressures requiring low noise levels and small frame sizes.
For Applications requiring:
- Displacements from .48 to 2.8 cu.in. (8 to 46 cc)
- Continuous Duty Pressures to 3000 PSI (210 Bar)
Power Units
Custom design and manufacturing of your power unit
The first thing someone thinks of when you say custom; is complicated, expensive and with long lead times. Did you know 70% of all our custom units are configured from our standard catalog pages. Our standards have so many options that they can act as a base unit.
Modify a standard to your specific specification such as; making it stainless steel construction, special dimensions, custom paint spec or color, special voltages, special fluids etc. This saves time and money by modifying standards. However, there are special cases where a complete custom constructed and special integrated circuit is required. With our engineering experience, design solutions and complete documentation you will get a custom system that’s easy to install and years of customer satisfaction.
Industry standard design
This style has a wide variety options to meet just about any application. They’re efficient, rugged, and easy to maintain. This is our most basic design and we stock a wide selection of components for competitive pricing and delivery.
- Industry standard horizontal design
- 10 to 210 Gallon reservoirs
- 1-75 GPM Pump flow
- UP 4000 PSI
- 1-125 HP
Designed for use in locations where space is at a premium
The low profile and access to all the components allows for easy adjustments and efficient maintenance. Their economical and easy to configure with out sacrificing any quality.
- Low profile, economical
- 10 to 30 Gallon reservoirs
- 1-10 GPM
- Up to 4000 psi
- Up to 20HP
One of the most rugged designs
This style also has a wide variety of options to meet any application. Flooded suction provides the longest lasting pumps. Positive pressure inlet allows the pump to work less and operate quieter. Combine this unit with a cooling, filtration circuit and this power unit will provide years of service. Top it off with a control panel and now you have a turn key system all from one source.
- Flooded suction, long life
- 10 to 210 Gallon reservoirs
- 1-75 GPM Pump flow
- UP TO 4000 PSI
- 1-125 HP
This unit offers power in a compact and quite package
Their economical, easy to configure and the stocked components allow for fast delivery. It’s basically an intermittent unit, however, equipped with right features it can run continuously and compete with any rugged condition.
- Compact, economical
- 3 to 40 Gallon reservoirs
- 1-15 GPM Pump flow
- Up to 4000 psi
- Up to 20 HP
Modular Stack Valves
Direct Operated Check Valve
This series of valves are a direct check valve made as a modular stack version with mounting surface according to the NFPA and ISO 4401 standards. It is used to avoid oil backflows and self-emptying of lines, or to generate back-pressures.
- Available in D03 and D05 mounting patterns
- Rated to 5000 PSI and up to 26 GPM
- Pressure line or tank line circuits
Circuit Pressure Control Functions
Used to control all aspects of the system pressure or circuit pressure control, these modular stack valves are available in relief, pressure reducing and sequence functions
- Available in D03 and D05 Mounting patterns
- Rated to 5000 PSI and up to 26 GPM
- Available in all work ports, to control desired pressure functions
Flow control with or without Pressure Compensation
Modular stack valves designed for control of output flow rates. Non-compensated flow control valves are made of cast iron bodies and pressure compensated flow controls are made with aluminum
- Available in D03 and D05 Mounting patterns
- Cast iron versions to 5000 PSI, aluminum versions to 3000 PSI
- Meter IN and Meter Out functions
Zero Leak Work Port Blocking Valves – F03MSV and F05MSV
This modular stack valve is designed to help block oil movement both from the control valve or from the actuator. Typically used with proportional valves with zero-lap type spool configurations that could allow oil movement when the system is shut down.
- Block flow when de-energized and will allow bi-directional flow when energized
- Rated to 5000 PSI and Flows to 30 GPM
- NFPA D03 and D05 mounting patterns
Counterbalance and Pilot Operated Check Valves
These modular stack valves utilize a cartridge type, guided poppet, hydraulic operated, pilot assisted, counterbalance valves or pilot operated check as a blocking or load-holding device for applications requiring locking and holding the load in any position.
- Rated to 3000 PSI Aluminum and 5000 PSI Cast Iron
- Flow rates to 32 GPM
- NFPA D03 or D05 mounting patterns
Subplate & In-Line Valves
